9th-12th Supervisor

Edith is a Texas A&M graduate, having completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1988. She worked as a middle school math teacher for eight years at Northside ISD in San Antonio before resigning her teaching position to stay at home to raise a family. During the ensuing eighteen years, Edith has pursued a passion for Christian education by homeschooling her two children, participating in the local homeschool association in various capacities, and volunteering as a high school math teacher at Grace Academy. As the current TLC supervisor, she feels it is a privilege to invest in the lives, spiritual growth, and education of young people.

Sharon Allen
GAK13111311@gmail.com
1st-3rd Supervisor

Sharon Allen is the FLC teacher. She has over 35 years teaching experience including 19 years in Christian schools. Her college major was music and early childhood education, and she is a certified early childhood music educator. Her involvement in Christian education has included researching, developing, and instituting reading, math, language, vocabulary, writing, and Bible curriculum. Mrs. Allen believes that a school’s purpose is to equip children to understand the truth about life, the world, and their place in it. Since a school not only shapes a child’s mind but their heart as well, she believes that it is important to guide children to the understanding that God is at the center of every pursuit of knowledge. She strongly believes that the Christian school does not exist to replace good Christian parenting, but to bean extension of that home; so that together we can equip them to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in this world.

Pre K- Kindergarten Supervisor

I was born and raised in Fort Davis, Texas. Recently our family moved back to my husbands home town, Comfort, Texas. I am a 2008 graduate from Sul Ross State University and I am a proud mother of three. I have always been involved in children's ministry in some way, from working at church camps to teaching preschool. It was durning my last two years of teaching at a Christian preschool that my passion blossomed and I found my true calling, teaching for ministry! I am so excited and honored to be joining Grace Academy! I firmly believe God is the foundation for every aspect of life, including education. I am so excited to not only teach academically, but also spiritually! I cannot wait to see what God has planned for me, my students, and Grace Academy!
